Having asthma as a child she was inspired by her own pediatrician to provide that same level of dedicated care to children one day as a pediatrician herself! Her special interests include preventative care, asthma, and supporting military families. She served ten years in the United States Navy, most recently completing a tour at Naval Hospital Pensacola where she served as the Chief of the Medical Staff for two years. Delacruz is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She also has a Master’s Degree in Public Health.
